Braunstone: Learning The Trailing Links Between Present And Past That Live In Lasting Love
Following the trails of childhood, it always takes me back to school. And even though I graduated with excellence too many ways, I still feel to be a student; the little smart and bright schoolgirl lives on inside.
I keep drawn to my old schools, the library and my favourite books, revisiting the sacred places in spirit and substance where I used to spend endless hours of sourcing knowledge, so welcomed as if it is my home.
And as they say, we learn a lifetime. Life is a never retiring teacher of never ceasing lessons, we need to know beyond the mere education to score high and pass successfully its endless tests. We excel in between the lines.
Recently, the same trail took me to a surprising place, so close to mine, yet one entirely unknown to me. A place where the present lives in one with the past. This affection between today and yesterday is one with my heart.
You can see the old brick live happily together under the same roof with the modern white. You can see how many functions existed in a single form. You can see the buildings stand, but people come and go as life cycles on.
Braunstone, as every village, town or city, has its homes and houses to live in, pray, and entertain. Each of these, still living museums of history, with the most amusing, the School linking trail to the owner of the Hall.
